First and foremost we think that God has called all forgiven followers of Jesus to proclaim Him as the now and coming King over all creation. Therefore, the purpose of life for any follower is tied to inviting others to meet Jesus. In addition to our own personal calling we are eagerly supporting others in this task. Lyons Creek Baptist Church faithfully supports over 7500 missionaries in 104 countries around the world through our public participation in the SBC Cooperative Program. Although we consider each of these individuals as Kingdom partners in making a global impact, God has also blessed us by calling some of our very own. In 2008 God began the process of calling Darius and Laura Ward to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth as part of the Lyons Creek Baptist Church family. You can learn more about the Wards here.
